Mobile packing station with turning cam

A customer of BCK was looking for a mobile packing station on which empty boxes could be supplied and buffered for a manual filling position and then after filling boxes could be removed, turned and buffered.

We achieved this by creating a workstation (1) where empty boxes are placed on a belt conveyor and full boxes can be picked up. At the other workstation (2), the empty boxes are filled with products and pushed onto another belt conveyor that has a turning cam. This turning cam turns the boxes from SSL to LSL so that more can be buffered on the gravity roller conveyor.
