Gravity roller conveyors
Gravity roller conveyors, also called non-driven roller conveyors, are usually used at the end of a production line for buffering products or where employees perform operations on the product. Non-driven are often placed at an angle so that products can roll down by gravity against an end stop. These non-driven roller conveyors are often placed at the end of a line as there is no control over the product as with attached roller conveyors. This type of roller conveyor has no motor and is virtually maintenance-free.
Types of non-driven roller conveyors
Each product or environment requires a different type of gravity roller conveyor. BCK Holland produces tailor-made gravity roller conveyors. The application often determines whether it should be a gravity roller conveyor with aluminium or stainless steel frame. See below for our product range:
Gravity roller conveyor type RC50G
If it is not a humid environment or stainless steel is not required, an aluminium gravity roller conveyor can be applied. The possibilities of aluminium roller conveyors are endless. The most frequently applied gravity roller conveyor is a gravity roller conveyor type RC50G.

A gravity roller conveyor with stainless steel frame is often used in humid areas and/or for products where stainless steel is required.
