Turning boxes with a Rollertop mattop conveyor

The customer came to us with an issue about turning boxes on a conveyor system towards a box sealer. The box comes from a filling application towards the box sealer and has to rotate 90°. We conducted tests here in our experience centre on driven roller conveyors, mattop conveyors and belt conveyors, among others. Our roller top mattop conveyor proved to be the reliable solution for the customer. The mattop is equipped with "balls" that can rotate. Because there is an integrated belt conveyor on one side under the running surface of the mattop, we can let the balls go around and make the box rotate. A great solution as the video clearly shows.
