Product alignment is a hot topic in the industrial world. Various methods, such as side guidance and actuated alignment with pneumatic components, are often used to accurately position uniform products. However, when dealing with products of various sizes, challenges arise.
To meet these challenges, BCK Holland has developed the Roller Drive Align (RDA), an innovative solution available in three different versions with working widths of 410mm, 510mm and 610mm.
The main objective in creating the RDA was to realise a standalone concept that can align products of varying sizes efficiently and accurately. This is achieved by positioning the rollers at a specific angle of 11.5 degrees. This angle was carefully chosen to achieve optimal results in both alignment and transport.
Over a distance of one metre, the RDA can handle lateral movements of up to 150mm, making it a versatile solution for products of different sizes. What makes the RDA even more attractive is its ability to be applied to all standard BCK roller conveyors.
The RDA is designed to accurately align even non-uniform products up to 40kg, making it a valuable addition for various industries with a wide range of product dimensions.
